The Orioles along with the Orioles Wives, Oriole Advocates, Von Paris Moving and Storage, and the Maryland Food Bank will hold the 30th annual OriolesREACH Food & Funds Drive, presented by MASN and WJZ-TV, at Oriole Park during the weekend series against the New York Yankees from June 3 through June 5. Representatives from these groups will collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations from fans at every entrance of the ballpark from the time gates open until the end of the second inning. According to the Maryland Food Bank, items most needed at this time are peanut butter, canned chicken, canned tuna, oatmeal, breakfast cereals, and canned fruits and vegetables.
The Orioles will partner with the Morgan State University women's softball team to conduct their annual Baltimore City youth baseball and softball clinic on Saturday, June 4, at Carroll Park (2100 Washington Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21230) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Orioles players Adam Jones and Jonathan Schoop, along with coaches Wayne Kirby and Jett Ruiz, and former Orioles Larry Bigbie, Ken Dixon, and Bill Swaggerty will be on hand to help teach baseball and softball to 300 city youth, most of whom are involved in the Orioles RBI program, with support from Morgan State University softball coaches and players. In addition to receiving baseball and softball training, each child will enjoy food and refreshments provided by ESSKAY. The Orioles will also donate 600 tickets to clinic participants to a future Orioles game.
On Tuesday, June 7, Dylan Bundy will be signing autographs at the York Store (2899 Whiteford Rd, York, PA 17402) from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Orioles infielder Manny Machado will host his third annual Manny Machado BaseBOWL Tournament, a celebrity charity event to support Baltimore City's Department of Recreation and Parks on Sunday, May 15. The sold-out event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Mustang Alleys Bar, Bowling and Bistro, located at 1300 Bank Street in Baltimore. Nearly all of Machado's teammates are expected to attend including Pedro Alvarez, Zach Britton, Chris Davis, Kevin Gausman, Adam Jones, Darren O'Day, Jonathan Schoop, Chris Tillman and Matt Wieters, as well as Orioles manager Buck Showalter, several Orioles coaches and Orioles legend Cal Ripken, Jr.
In support of Machado's efforts, the Orioles will donate $10,000 to Baltimore City Recreation and Parks and host participating youth at an upcoming Orioles home game through the OriolesREACH Gameday Experience Program. The children will receive game tickets, concessions, an Orioles t-shirt and cap, and transportation to and from the game.
Orioles pitcher Mychal Givens will visit the students of Saint Francis Academy (SFA) on Tuesday, May 17. Givens will share his story of becoming a professional baseball player and battling through adversity in life. Saint Frances Academy was opened by Mother Mary Lange in 1828. The Academy, the oldest continuously operating, predominantly African-American Catholic High School in the world, moved to its current location in Baltimore in 1870. Saint Frances Academy currently serves nearly 200 students from ninth to twelfth grade. Nearly 92 percent of their graduates matriculate to a four-year college with 90 percent of those students graduating within four years. The educational opportunities made possible by Saint Frances provide under-served students with a solid foundation and a legitimate opportunity for a better life.

The Casey Cares Foundation 7th Annual 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, August 6 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in partnership with OriolesREACH. The 3.1 mile run/one mile walk starts at 8:00 a.m. and begins at Oriole Park and ends on the field. Participants will partake in a pre-race warm-up with the Oriole Bird, music, and other entertainment, and will enjoy post-race refreshments. Top race winners and the top fundraiser will be announced in a pre-game ceremony prior to the August 16 game against the Boston Red Sox.
Orioles pitcher Brian Matusz is partnering in the FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) Walk for Food Allergy on Sunday, October 9, at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Matusz, who suffers from a peanut allergy, is being recognized as the local FARE Honorary Ambassador. As a fundraising incentive, the Orioles will donate items such as a signed Matusz jersey and a pregame on-field meet and greet with Orioles players, including four tickets to a select game.
The Orioles Hall of Fame Luncheon, sponsored by the Oriole Advocates, founders of the Orioles Hall of Fame, will be held Friday, August 14, beginning at noon in the Warehouse at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The luncheon will honor Melvin Mora, Gary Roenicke and Fred Uhlman, Sr. (John Lowenstein will be unable to attend due to a previous engagement.)
That night they will be honored during on-field ceremony prior to the game vs. the Oakland Athletics at 7:05 p.m.

In an effort to help further support BARCS' efforts to find safe homes for dogs and cats in the area, Orioles players Brad Brach, Zach Britton, Miguel Gonzalez, Kevin Gausman, J.J. Hardy, and Matt Wieters will appear at BARCS (301 Stockholm Street) for an autograph signing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on August 22. Fans who purchase a Pet Calendar can receive autographs, and fans attending the event may park for free in Lot J (adjacent to BARCS).
On Sunday, September 13, the Oriole Advocates will conduct their 2015 Cardboard to Leather™ collection at Oriole Park, presented by Legg Mason. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used baseball equipment to the Orioles game on Sunday to be used in this year's distribution. Financial donations will also be accepted to help with shipping costs.
The Orioles will host LUNGevity Foundation's Breathe Deep Baltimore, a walk to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer in memory of Orioles' late Public Relations Director, Monica Pence Barlow, on October 3 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The Baltimore Orioles, OriolesREACH, and Manager Buck Showalter and his wife Angela are teaming up with KidsPeace again this year to host a Halloween-themed race to benefit children in foster care. The sixth annual Trick-or-Trot 5K/1-Mile Walk will be held on Halloween morning, Saturday, October 31. The race will begin and end at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for top runners, age group winners, fundraising teams and best costumes. The kickoff to the 2016 baseball season will begin on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Baltimore Convention Center when the Orioles host FanFest. Orioles FanFest, presented by Visit Sarasota County, will feature appearances by Orioles players and coaches as part of a day-long celebration of baseball that will also include clinics, exhibits and interactive games.
The Orioles will hold the 6th Annual OriolesREACH Birdland Golf Classic at The Founders Club in Sarasota, Fla., on Monday, February 22, 2016, with the event benefiting the Miracle League of Manasota. The Miracle League is an organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for every person to play baseball, regardless of their ability.
