CJ'Catches and Preston's Pals
Catcher Charles Johnson and centerfielder Preston Wilson each host 30 children from non-profit groups in Denver to Saturday games throughout the season. They provide a game ticket, a t-shirt and $10 for each child to help enjoy the ballpark. The groups arrive early to Coors Field and get to enjoy a question & answer session and get autographs from the players.
CJ's Catches has hosted WatchCare Academy, Boys & Girls Club, Devereux Cleo Wallace, Project Angel Heart, Denver Kids, Inc., Southwest YMCA, HOPE Center, RBI teams, and Cole Middle School so far this season.
Preston's Pals has hosted the Blue Devils RBI team, Boys & Girls Club, Glenarm Recreation Center and Cole Middle School.
