Dynamic Pricing FAQ

The Colorado Rockies implemented dynamic pricing in 2013 for single-game ticket sales and plan to continue to use of it for 2014. Currently 80% of the 30 MLB teams are utilizing dynamic pricing.

By using advanced computer programming, dynamic pricing makes adjustments based on factors such as day of the week, month, team performance, visiting team's performance, weather forecast and remaining ticket inventory in specific seating sections.

Dynamically priced single game tickets will never move below season ticket prices and will generally grow over time as inventory decreases. In this way, fans that purchase tickets early are more likely to get the best pricing.

When single game tickets go on sale in February, single game prices for 2014 will be at or below 2013 prices for 95% of games in most seating sections. Additionally, the Rockies' popular season-long ticket specials, such as Coca-Cola Value Packs, Green Packs, and Purple Mondays, will remain in effect for the 2014 season.
