Kansas City Royals Season Ticket Members will be among the first to have the opportunity to secure tickets for any Major League Baseball (MLB) postseason games to be played at Kauffman Stadium. While we will make every effort to abide by the rules set forth below, these "Postseason" games are hosted by the Royals for Major League Baseball and thus are subject to possible changes based on MLB requirements. The specific location and number of seats available for purchase depend on a number of factors, including the size of Season Ticket Plan (i.e. Premium, Full Season, Half Season or 20-Game Plan), Season Ticket Account longevity (i.e. the number of continuous years a Season Ticket Member has maintained their Royals Season Ticket account in good standing), the number of seats held in a Season Ticket Plan, and the seating category held in a Season Ticket Plan.

Ten teams, five from each league, qualify for Postseason play. In both the American and National Leagues, the three division winners will automatically qualify, and the two remaining teams with the best winning percentage will earn the two Wild Card spots. Opponents and home field advantage are dependent upon each team's regular season record. This may not be finalized until the last day of the regular season. Therefore, tickets for all possible playoff games, including potential tiebreaker games are included in your Postseason ticket package.
As a valued Season Ticket Member you receive an exclusive Season Ticket Member discount on your Postseason ticket package. Ticket pricing for all playoff rounds will vary and all prices are made in conjunction with Major League Baseball. Current regular season seat locations are not guaranteed for Postseason locations. There are several seating demands that exist for the Postseason including commitments for Major League Baseball and its partners. While every attempt will be made to keep you in your current season locations, relocations may occur. Best efforts are made to assign comparable seat locations to your regular season seat when possible.
Please reference the enclosed 2015 Postseason Payment Options insert for more detailed information regarding payment options. You are encouraged to take advantage of the most convenient way to pay for your Postseason ticket packages through your My Royals Tickets account. In order to purchase your Postseason ticket package, payment must be received no later than Monday, September 7, 2015. After this date seat location(s) will no longer be available and the opportunity to purchase Postseason ticket packages can no longer be guaranteed.
Credits for any game(s) not played, will be applied toward your 2016 Season Tickets at the conclusion of the Postseason. Credits for any game(s) not played will not be applied to any remaining Postseason games. Additional convenience fees for your Postseason tickets are non-refundable.
If you purchased a 2015 regular season parking package, the option to purchase Postseason parking passes are included on your invoice based on the number of passes and parking location you had on your Season Ticket account in 2015. Best efforts are made to relocate as few parking assignments as possible; however, there may be parking demands that exist for the Postseason including commitments for Major League Baseball and its partners.
Due to the increased number of Season Ticket accounts in 2015, additional ticket strip purchases will be unlikely. In the event that Postseason ticket inventory remains, full (81) Season Ticket Members will have first priority. Half (41) and Partial (20) Season Ticket Members will not be able to purchase additional ticket strips, however, will still have priority for individual series online pre-sales.
Tickets will be shipped via FedEx to the address listed on the Season Ticket account. Tickets cannot be sent to a P.O. Box. Due to the very short delivery window, it is imperative that you confirm the address information on your account. Please review the address listed on the invoice included and email Ticket Services at firstname.lastname@example.org if your address needs to be changed.
The Royals Ticket Office will not accept any third party will call drop offs for the Postseason. Please make other delivery arrangements in advance or use your My Royals Tickets account to transfer the tickets electronically.
Please make sure to double-check your tickets before you leave for the game. You will need to have the correct numbered ticket that corresponds to the scheduled home game for the appropriate series. For the American League Division and Championship Series you will use the ticket labeled Home Game 1 for the first game played in Kansas City in each series. This game may not be the first game played in the series, but the first game played at home. Should the Royals need to play a tiebreaker game, use the "Tiebreaker 1" ticket included with your Postseason tickets. Fans arriving without the correct tickets will not be admitted. Tickets cannot be reprinted or replaced.
The dates and times for potential Postseason games played in Kansas City are yet to be determined. All area media outlets (royals.com, local radio, television and newspapers, etc.) will have details as they are announced.
Should the Royals not qualify for the Postseason, or the Royals make the Postseason and all games are not played, any Postseason credits for those games (and parking, if applicable) will automatically be applied towards your 2016 Season Tickets. If you prefer to have your credit refunded back to you, please submit your request online at www.royals.com/refund by Friday, November 13. Credit card charges will be refunded to the card used to pay for the Postseason ticket package. If you paid by cashier's check, certified check, money order or cash, a refund check will be issued to the Account Holder of Record listed on the Season Ticket account. Refunds will be processed within 6-8 weeks after November 13, 2015. Tickets from games not played do not need to be returned to the Royals.
