PRIMARY PURPOSE:

  • Handle all incoming sales calls for new season tickets, mini-plans, group tickets, suites and party facilities
  • Capitalize on upselling opportunities

  • Make outbound calls to individual ticket buyers and LoDo businesses as time permits
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Sell the benefits of using the various Coors Field options for personal use, client entertainment and employee functions
  • Know all entertainment options at the ballpark and all ticket policies
  • Adequately answer all customer questions and listen closely to what each individual has to say
  • Assist customer with all needs throughout the sales process
  • Understand the nuances of the facility, e.g., section configurations, obstructed seating, access points, points of interest, and parking information
  • Complete understanding of the policies, procedures and other product knowledge of the ticketing department
  • Fully understand what the Rockies organization expects and values; exemplify correlating behaviors daily
  • Provide detailed contact updates and progress
  • Call assigned accounts daily
  • Organize and input database records
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Year-round/part-time position, work schedule Monday - Friday, evenings and weekends as needed

Account Executive, Group Sales »

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

  • Promote Rockies Baseball through the sale of tickets to groups customers

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Pre-season/In-season
  • Establish new group accounts which may include:
    • Youth sports organizations
    • Schools & Alumni Clubs
    • Non-Profit Organizations
    • Senior groups
    • Senior Fan Club
    • Businesses/Corporate
    • Theme Dates
  • Sell and coordinate specific theme dates and on-field groups
  • Renew existing group accounts
  • Assist group leaders with game date selection, seating availability and tickets needed
  • Generate new sales ideas (i.e. theme dates) and strategies
  • Provide support to group leader during sales campaign; assist with promotion and distribution of tickets (i.e. email, flyers, maps, etc.)
    • Inform group leaders of all group ticket sales policies and ensure that policies are adhered to
    • Track sales and collect unsold tickets/order additional tickets as far in advance as possible
  • Produce invoices and collect payment in timely manner
  • Escort groups to all pre-game activities; submit ceremony scripts in timely fashion
  • Greet group leaders during ballgames to continue to develop/grow relationships
  • Build and maintain relationships with group leaders, ensuring yearly return
  • Maintain accurate files and records of each transaction
  • Evaluate group's performances to aid in future sales
Off-season
  • Establish new group contacts through lead generation and prospecting
  • Assist with renewal process for all groups
  • Assist with preparing year-end department review
  • Assist with revision of existing group literature (i.e., fliers, letters, etc.) and creation of new useful work products
General
  • Conduct appointments/calls in a professional, efficient and effective manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Return all phone calls promptly
  • Assist other areas or departments as needed

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree preferred

Dugout Store Manager - Littleton »

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that is responsible for all operations of an individual team owned retail outlet as follows:

  • Conduct the daily operations of the store including depositing of daily receipts, credit card reconciliation, merchandise stocking, customer service and assistance.
  • Conduct daily individual game day ticket sales and Season Ticket exchange.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining an acceptable level of physical inventory and managing merchandise loss prevention.
  • Train, motivate and supervise part-time store staff.
  • Working knowledge of point of purchase and ticketing systems.
  • Responsible for overall store presentation and weekly merchandise displays.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date stock room.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of the store.
  • Assist in the development of marketing and advertising opportunities.
  • Store reporting responsibilities in the areas of Daily Sales Recap Sheets, Sales Reports, Ticket Sales Reports and employee timesheet approval.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum five years retail store operations management or similar experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Expert levels of customer service, cash handling, writing, oral communication, sales, research and analysis are required.
  • Proficient levels of computer and administrative skills are required.
  • Knowledge of receiving, inventory merchandise presentation, store display and overall layout
  • Detail oriented

In-Game Host »

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary role of the In-Game Host is to assist In-Game Entertainment with select features/pieces throughout Coors Field game day run of show. The In-Game Host will foster the family atmosphere established at Coors Field and act in a professional manner in all situations while performing and interacting with fans.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Host live to board inning break features with selected fans
  • Ability to speak eloquently, concisely and professionally with selected fans while adhering to prepared feature script
  • Ability to ad-lib and think on feet is a must
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations
  • Ability to learn and communicate in broadcast technical terms.
  • Candidate may be required at appearances both on game days and non-game days.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and adherence to Major League Baseball In-Game Entertainment guidelines
  • Candidate will have a flexible schedule; availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Excellent oral communication; ability to speak Spanish a plus
  • On-camera experience preferred
  • Theatre, acting, performance work not required but preferred
  • Vocal performances background a plus. Occasions to fill in as National Anthem or other musical performer are not uncommon
  • The position requires rapid travel from point to point in the ballpark

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    We have Guest Service Representative positions available in the following areas:

  • Gates - Greet guests, check and scan tickets, conduct bag checks for prohibited items, provide accurate ticket scan counts
  • Usher - Greet guests, check tickets, assist guests to seats and provide quality service to enhance Guest's experience
  • Interactive Game Area - Greet guests, monitor lines, restock balls, ensure payment for game, and ensure Guests' safety. Close interaction with children/parents, and ensuring that ballpark policies are followed
  • Guest Relations - Greet guests, assist guests getting into the park, give directions, assist with Guest birthdays and special occasions
  • VIP Representative - Suite Level, Restricted Area - Greet guests and monitor ballpark policies. Upon hiring, must complete a Colorado Court Search Investigation background check and obtain a City and County of Denver, Merchant Guard License

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is seeking a group of energetic and outgoing individuals to be members of the Rally Crew team. If you enjoy baseball, and supporting the Colorado Rockies, this job is for you!

The main job function of this team will be to promote the Colorado Rockies during games offering an energetic approach at entertaining and pumping up the crowd at Coors Field. Members of this team will also be expected to take part in in-game activities and performances, and also represent the Rockies organization at outside events, marketing initiatives, and community appearances.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 19 years of age or older by April 1
  • Must be a high-school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be comfortable wearing cheerleader-like attire. No visible tattoos or body piercings
  • Flexible Schedule: Must be available for the majority (mostly nights and weekends, some holidays) of Rockies home baseball games, as well as outside appearances. Members will also be required to be on call for select games throughout the season.
  • Rally Crew members must also be comfortable serving as ambassadors at a variety of community, sponsor, marketing and media events throughout the season.
  • Able to serve as a professional representative of the Colorado Rockies Brand.
  • Comfortable performing on camera and in front of large crowds at Coors Field, which could potentially include dancing and throwing towels and t-shirts to the crowd.
  • Comfortable being photographed professionally for posters, calendars, etc.
  • Approachable, personable, and energetic.
  • Teamwork skills required, able to work well with others and keep a positive attitude.
  • Must have the ability to remain active and on your feet for long periods of time, including: walking up and down stairs, lifting props and delivering promotional materials.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to take direction from multiple supervisors.
  • Baseball knowledge a plus.
