Souvenir Department - Retail Sales Associate

Hours:
All Mariner game days, including weekday day games, evenings and weekends. All shifts start 3hrs prior to game.

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise and operate various retail locations
  • Handle guest questions regarding merchandise and general ballpark information
  • Be prepared to assume additional responsibilities that fall outside of primary responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Previous retail/guest service experience
  • Guest friendly attitude
  • Accountable to balance tills and inventory
  • Able to handle fast pace environment and multi task
  • Comfortable working with POS/Computers
  • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50lbs

Information Systems Technology Intern

Job Title: Information Systems Technology Intern
Department: Information Systems
Status: Part-Time, Seasonal, Non-Exempt

The Position:
The Seattle Mariners are currently looking to fill an internship position within the Information Services Department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties will vary by skill set and experience needed. Our department handles everything related to computer systems, and information technology. We work with telephone systems, servers, workstations, networking, and many various applications. Business hour duties can include answering help desk questions, desktop support for the front office, scouts and player development. Jobs can be as menial as breaking down boxes to the complexity of troubleshooting networking infrastructure issues. Day of game duties can include responding to calls from all over the ballpark including concession stands, retail stands, broadcast booth and press needs, as well as the over 700 computer related systems throughout the ballpark.

The hours worked will vary throughout the season, usually determined by the schedule of the team. When the Mariners are playing at Safeco, we are looking for interns that can help us during the business day as well as through the game. (Office hours - 8:30-5:30, and games starting with gates opening at 4:05-10pm) When the team is on the road, we would like to have interns working during regular business hours. Schedules are flexible, mixed day - night schedules. Anywhere from 20 - 40 hours a week.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Computer knowledge - hardware, software, operating systems
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with a wide variety of employees
  • Previous experience working with computers a plus

  • Selling tickets using the Ticketmaster software.

Availability:

  • Must have flexible work schedule, nights, weekends, and Holidays a must. Game days, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay:

  • $9.40/Hour plus Monthly Bonus Incentive. Depends on Experience
