The Rockies are doing it all on their recent tear, during which they've won 17 of 18 games: hitting in the clutch, hitting with power, getting terrific outings from the starting rotation and solid work from the bullpen.
From June 4-14, the Rockies tied this season's longest winning streak at 11, first established by the Red Sox from April 15-27. They also tied the franchise mark set during their miracle run to the playoffs at the end of 2007.
And now, after a loss to the Rays on June 16, the Rockies are back to their winning ways having won six straight.
"We're having fun," center fielder Dexter Fowler said during the first winning streak. "When you're having fun, you can always be happy, and we're winning. That helps."
