Rockies announce Spring Training schedule
Colorado is set to play 17 home games at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
DENVER - The Colorado Rockies announced their 32-game 2012 Cactus League schedule today, which features 17 home dates, and 18 games total, played at the Rockies one-year-old Spring Training site in Scottsdale, Ariz., Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
The Rockies spring schedule will begin on Saturday, March 3rd with the Rockies hosting fellow Salt River Fields inhabitants Arizona in the venue's 2012 opening-game of the Cactus League season. The Rockies second game of the schedule is also a home game against Arizona on Monday, March 5th. Colorado will play their first game away from Salt River Fields on March 6th at Chicago Cubs in Mesa, AZ.
Colorado's home schedule features three night games, all set for 7:10 p.m. local time. The first of which is set for Wednesday, March 14th vs. Arizona. The Rockies will also host night games at Salt River Fields on Thursday, March 22nd vs. San Francisco and Friday, March 30th vs. two-time defending American League Champion Texas. The Rockies will host both Chicago teams twice at Salt River Fields, the Cubs on Thursday, March 15th and Friday, March 23rd, and the White Sox on Sunday, March 11th and Wednesday, March 28th.
The Rockies schedule concludes with consecutive games against the Mariners on April 2nd and 3rd, with the final game of the Cactus League schedule on April 3rd scheduled to take place at Salt River Fields.
Individual game tickets for all 33 games at Salt River Fields will go on sale beginning at 10:00 a.m. on January 14, 2012. Tickets can be purchased at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Centerfield Ticket Office, the Coors Field Ticket Office, all Dugout Store locations, online at coloradorockies.com or by phone by calling 888.490.0383 or 480.362.WINS (9467).

All home spring games begin at 1:10 p.m. local time, other than the three home night games, which begin at 7:10 p.m. Away games will start at 1:05 p.m. local time, other than the two road night games, at Cincinnati (March 16, 7:05 p.m.) and at San Diego (March 20, 7:05 p.m.).
General admission lawn seating that will hold 4,000 people will be $8 and tickets for 7,000 reserved seats in the seating bowl range from $17-$26. More specifically, ticket prices for games at Salt River Fields are: Infield Box $26, Dugout Reserve $23, Infield Reserve $21, Miller Lite Taste Zone $20, Coors Light Cold Zone $20, Pepsi Patio $19, Baseline Reserve $17 and Lawn $8. The Rockies Plan, which offers tickets for each of our 17 home games is priced: Infield Box $442, Dugout Reserve $391, Infield Reserve $357, Baseline Reserve $289 and Lawn $136. The package price for all 33 games at Salt River Fields range from $264 (Lawn seating) to $858 (Infield Box seating).
Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members and D-backs and Rockies season-ticket holders may purchase season-ticket plans for Spring Training games at Salt River Fields exclusively between Dec. 5-9. Season-ticket plans for the Rockies' 17 home games at Salt River Fields and all 33 Cactus League games at Salt River Fields featuring the D-backs and Rockies will go on sale to the public beginning Dec. 12.
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is located on a 140-acre site near the Pima-Loop 101 and Indian Bend Road and is the first Spring Training facility built on Native American land. Owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, the complex consists of separate training facilities, offices and clubhouses accommodating each team as well as an 11,000-seat ballpark that features a uniquely designed roof structure that offers fans in the cross aisle plenty of shade. Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is the newest entertainment venue to carry the "Talking Stick" brand, as it joins Talking Stick Golf Club and Talking Stick Resort, both located across the Pima-Loop 101 road from the training facility.
