    The Houston Astros have selected right-handed pitcher Mike Foltynewicz to the Major League roster today (#48). He will join the club from Triple A Oklahoma City. This marks the Major League debut for Foltynewicz, who will pitch out of the bullpen. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.

  • Astros make six-player trade with Marlins

    The Houston Astros have completed a six-player trade with the Miami Marlins today in advance of the 3 p.m. CT trading deadline. In the deal, the Astros acquired outfielder Jake Marisnick, two minor league players, right-handed pitcher Frances Martes and third baseman Colin Moran, and a Competitive Balance Round A pick in exchange for right-handed pitcher Jarred Cosart, infielder Kiké Hernandez and minor league outfielder Austin Wates. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.
