Rockies agree to terms with 13 of their 2011 Draft selections
Seventh round selection 1B Harold Riggins among the 13 who agreed to terms

DENVER - The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has agreed to terms with 13 of the 51 players the Rockies selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball Player Draft.
The Rockies agreed to terms with the following players: 1B Harold Riggins (7th, NC St.), INF Timothy Smalling (15th, Virginia Tech), RHP William Rankin (17th, Southern Polytech St.), RHP Benjamin Alsup (18th, LSU), INF Jordan Ribera (21st, Fresno St.), LHP Logan Mahon (22nd, SE Missouri St.), LHP Brook Hart (23rd, Yale), RHP Michael Wolford (26th, UC-Riverside), INF Matthew Argyropoulos (27th, WSU), INF Sam Mende (31st, South Florida), OF Jarod Berggren (32nd, Northern Colorado), RHP Christopher Dennis (34th, Portland) and C Richard Pirkle (35th, Georgia Col & St. U).
Overall, the Rockies have signed six pitchers, five infielders, one outfielder and one catcher. Of the pitchers, four are right-handed and two are left-handed.
