Rockies agree to terms with second round selection of Carl Thomore
Club also agrees to terms with 10 additional players from 2011 First-Year Player Draft

The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has agreed to terms with 11 additional 2011 First-Year Player Draft selections, including second-round pick, outfielder Carl Thomore from East Brunswick HS (NJ).

The Rockies also agreed to terms with the following players: INF Taylor Featherston (5th round, TCU), RHP Chris Jensen (6th round, San Diego), LHP Roberto Padilla (8th round, San Jose St.), RHP Benjamin Hughes (10th round, St. Olaf), RHP Alex Gillingham (11th round, Loyola Marymount), LHP Kyle Roliard (13th round, Louisiana Tech), OF Brian Humphries (14th round, Pepperdine), RHP Jesse Meaux (19th round, UCSB), RHP Daniel Winkler (20th round, UCF) and RHP Patrick Johnson (25th round, UNC).

Overall, the Rockies have signed a total of 24 players from the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, including 14 pitchers, six infielders, three outfielders and one catcher. Of the 14 pitchers, four are left-handed and 10 are right-handed.
