Colorado Rockies fans can still ride RTD to Coors Field for the August 1 thru 7 home games during temporary light rail closures
Fans traveling to Rockies games on light rail are asked to build in extra-time due to ongoing light rail construction
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

Denver, July 29, 2011 -- Regional Transportation District (RTD) wants to remind Colorado Rockies fans that for the Rockies series with the Phillies on August 1, 2, 3, and the Nationals August, 4, 5, 6 and 7, that fans can still get to Coors Field via RTD during temporary light rail closures. The weekend Rockies Ride dedicated bus service will not be affected.

For the August 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 weekday games, fans can take the bus shuttle service from the 10th/Osage Station to Denver Union Station and walk north to Coors Field on Wynkoop or fans can take light rail to 16th/California or 16th/Stout Stations and jump on the FREE MallRide to Market Street Station and head to Coors Field on Blake Street.

For the August 6 and 7, weekend games, fans can take the bus shuttle from the 10th/Osage Station to Denver Union Station and walk north to Coors Field on Wynkoop Street or fans can take the bus shuttle from the 10th/Osage Station to 16th/California or 16th/Stout Stations and jump on the FREE MallRide to Market Street Station and head to Coors Field on Blake Street.

RockiesRide Current Weekend Bus Service Rockies fans can catch RTD's RockiesRide direct bus service to Coors Field from 14 metro area locations, including 13 park-n-Ride lots and Boulder High School.RockiesRide one-way fares range from $4.00 to $5.00, depending on trip origination. Passengers pay cash as they board; transfers, tickets and passes are not accepted.

Every RockiesRide bus is designated with the letter R after a route number, e.g. Route 120R. Buses depart 60 to 115 minutes before game time and arrive 30 to 60 minutes before the first pitch at the Coors Field parking lot on 22nd/Blake, placing riders at the ballpark 30-60 minutes before the first pitch.

Upon arrival at the stadium, the bus driver will announcewhich row in the parking lot at 22nd/Blake that bus route's buses will be parked,making it easy to locate the bus for the return trip home. After the game, go to the parking lot at 22nd/Blake, locate the assigned row number for your RockiesRide route and hop on board. RockiesRide buses depart as they fill up, with the last bus leaving 45 minutes after the game ends. Excluding rain delays, buses will not leave Coors Field before the seventh inning.
