Fowler exits game with sprained right ankle
Center fielder on crutches, expects to miss at least few games

X-rays taken after the game came back negative. Fowler, who was on crutches, expressed discomfort and said he expected to miss at least a few games. Manager Jim Tracy said the team would reevaluate Fowler's condition after a few days.
Fowler hit a soft ground-ball single to right field and advanced after Mets right fielder Scott Hairston made an errant throw to first base in an attempt to keep him from advancing. The injury occurred when Fowler reached second.
Jordan Pacheco pinch-ran for Fowler and stayed in the game, playing first base. Tyler Colvin moved from first to center.
