Colorado Rockies partner with tablet technology leader PlayerLync
iPad-based solution is Major League for scouting and player development

DENVER, Colo. (December 11, 2013) - The Colorado Rockies recently partnered with Denver-based PlayerLync for the 2014 season. PlayerLync, a leading enterprise platform utilized with proven performance throughout the NFL, has now revolutionized the Colorado Rockies process to distribute video and securely collaborate throughout the organization.
Last season, the Rockies were the first MLB team to adopt PlayerLync's technology to automatically push and control videos, scouting reports and more to the teams' iPads."
"It used to be difficult and time consuming to distribute video and scouting reports to anyone outside our building," says Brian Jones, video coordinator for the Colorado Rockies. The Colorado Rockies also utilize PlayerLync to provide their baseball operations staff with instant access to scouting reports with attached videos of amateur and professional players to enhance the evaluation process for scouting and coaching purposes. The Rockies baseball operations staff and scouts now have the ability to access video and scouting tools while outside of the Coors Field offices.
