Matsui's return not enough
Diamondbacks 6, Rockies 5
Brad Hawpe rounds the bases after his solo homer in the third inning. (Paul Connors/AP)
 Hawpe's solo blast
Kaz Matsui, activated from the 15-day disabled list prior to the game after sitting out of 32 games, made up for lost time. His two-run double in the seventh inning gave the Rockies a short-lived lead, as the bullpen had a hard time shutting the D-backs down.
