Winless since Aug. 5, starter Scott Olsen couldn't make it out of the third inning, allowing six runs on eight hits as the Marlins were denied the sweep at Coors. Offensively, Florida was held in check, collecting just five hits after scoring 17 runs the past two days.
Stuck in a three-game slide, the Rox busted out in a big way, belting four home runs, including Todd Helton's 300th career blast. Garrett Atkins, Chris Iannetta, Matt Holliday also went deep to back rookie Franklin Morales' six scoreless innings in the finale.
