Giants Baseball Camps run programs that enrich the lives of children through exceptional instruction, character-building experiences, and a unique Major League Giants Experience that creates lasting memories.

Our weeklong day camps run throughout the Bay Area and are open to boys and girls ages 5-14. Giants camps provides the perfect combination and our camps provide the perfect combination of instruction, competition, and fun.

Program Highlights

  • Four and a half days of exceptional instruction, with two or more competitive games each day
  • Half-day trip on charter buses to AT&T Park with a VIP ballpark tour
  • Meet & Greet with a current or former Giants player that includes photographs and autographs
  • An official Giants camp uniform that includes a jersey, pants, belt, socks, and hat

Our professional instructors have baseball experience on both the player and coach level, offering each camper an unparalleled personal instructional experience. We maintain a 6:1 coach to camper ratio to ensure safety and to help each camper to make concrete fundamental improvements to his or her game.

Instruction & Experience

5-7 Year Olds

Instructional Focus

  • Basic fundamentals: throwing, catching, fielding, & hitting
  • Basic game decisions: base running, proper place to make the out
  • Coach pitch games between teams with heavy coach instruction

The Fun

  • Home Run Derby
  • Baseball Olympics
  • Chance to play in front of Lou Seal!

8-10 Year Olds

Each camper will take home an individual scouting report from his/her coach as well as an instructional binder of drills to work on.

Instructional Focus

  • Throwing: focus on proper upper and lower body throwing mechanics
  • Hitting: 5-point hitting instruction breaking each camper's swing down individually via differentiated progression
  • Fielding: specific focus on teaching proper fielding through balance, vision, and soft-hands receiving
  • Mini Camps: position-centric teaching stations for pitching, catching, infield, outfield play
  • Game simulations that include: outfield cut-offs, double play fundamentals, aggressive base running

The Fun
  • Division-wide Home Run Derby
  • Baseball Olympics
  • Week-long tournament competitive games, culminating in World Series Friday
  • Daily Awards

11-14 Year Olds

Players will receive individualized video analysis of their swing in addition to a player scouting report and drill binder to take home at the conclusion of the week

Instructional Focus

  • Advancing athlete essentials: proper stretching, introduction to tube strengthening and stretching, intermediate balance drills
  • Throwing: focus on proper arm angle for maximum backspin, developing a long-toss routine
  • Hitting: individual video analysis progression focusing on comparisons to successful and fundamental hitters
  • Fielding: specific focus on balance and hand-eye coordination and reaction drills. Teaching proper transfer from fielding to throwing for the out.
  • Game simulations that include: advanced outfield cut-offs and decision making, decreasing double-play timing, active base-running based on ball location and fielder ability/arm strength
  • Position specific rotations with expert coaches at each position

The Fun
  • Week-long tournament style competitive games, culminating in World Series Friday
  • Showcase-style position specific competitions
  • Daily Awards

Camps run from 9am - 3pm (extended care is available)

Camp Cost: $550 per camper includes:

  • Official Giants Uniform (includes jersey, pants, belt, socks, and hat)
  • Charter bus field trip and VIP tour of AT&T Park

Please note that during weeks that the team is out of town, campers will meet a former player and also have their pictures taken with the World Series Trophies

* Camp will not operate on Friday July 4th but will operate on Sat. July 5th

Extended Day Options

Giants Camps offers extended day programs for campers that need to be dropped off earlier and/or picked up later than the typical 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. camp hours. Extended day programs can be used on an as needed or a daily basis, and you may enroll at any time.

Early Batting Practice- Drop off between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. - $5 per day
Time spent at Early Batting Practice will include offensive drills, competitions, and games coordinated by our professional coaching staff. These activities will warm campers up for the day and provide added instruction and fun.

Extra Innings Extended Day - Pickup between 3:15 and 5:30 p.m. - $10 per day
Extra Innings Extended Day offers daily mini-camps in pitching, catching, outfield, infield, and batting. Campers can participate in the fundamentals instruction stations and games or take part in a more relaxing activity, like baseball trivia challenges, baseball history and stories, or age-appropriate board games.
