Similar to single game tickets, 2014 Special Event tickets are subject to DYNAMIC PRICING. This means the price of tickets may increase as the event date approaches, so make sure to buy early and save!

  • A valid Special Event game ticket must be presented at the redemption location or pre-game party in order to redeem that event's giveaway item
  • You will not be able to receive the item unless you present a valid Special Event game ticket

2014 SPECIAL EVENTS POLICY:
With a few exceptions, 2014 SPECIAL EVENT TICKETS WILL NOT PRINT WITH AN ATTACHED VOUCHER. Instead, the value for the Special Event "extras" is now stored on the barcode of the Special Event game ticket. In order to access a Special Event giveaway item or take part in any of the benefits, each person must present a valid Special Event game ticket to be scanned at the redemption location. If a person is attempting to redeem more than one giveaway item, he or she must present an equal number of valid Special Events game tickets, as well.


In past years there was an attached voucher that came with my game ticket; is there no longer one?

What constitutes a valid Special Event game ticket?
A valid Special Event game ticket is one that was purchased directly from the Giants, either through online (sfgiants.com/specialevents), over the phone (415-972-2298), at AT&T Park, or at any of the Giants Dugout Stores. For this ticket to remain valid and maintain its "Special Event stored valued", it must not be resold online or relayed, or the valued will be removed from the ticket, resulting in your original Special Event ticket becoming inactive and not valid for item redemption.

If I buy a regular game ticket to the same game as a Special Event, will I still receive the giveaway item?
No. The only way to receive a Special Event giveaway item is to purchase the specific special event ticket, which can be done through the Special Events website or by calling 415-972-2298.

How do I know that I have purchased the correct Special Event ticket?
If the ticket was purchased through the Special Events website or by calling 415.972.2298 and referencing a specific event, then you can feel confident that you have purchased the correct ticket. When you receive your tickets, they will have the name of Special Event printed on the ticket.

How will I receive my giveaway item?
Special event giveaway items can be collected on the day of the game at the distribution location(s) listed on your Special Event game ticket. Make sure that you bring the ticket with you, as you will not be able to collect your item without it. Special Event item distribution always concludes at the end of the 5th Inning, so be sure to arrive before then.

If I can't make the game, am I able to collect my giveaway item?
Giveaway items are not guaranteed if not collected on the day of the special event. However, if supply allows, the Giants Special Events department will generally honor Special Event items after the event date. Email specialevents@sfgiants.com to arrange a pick-up time.

If I have multiple Special Event game tickets, can I pick up items for other members of my group?
If a person is attempting to redeem more than one giveaway item, he or she must present an equal number of valid Special Events game tickets, as well. One person may collect multiple Special Event game tickets from his or her group and redeem all the items at once, if preferred.

Does my regular game tickets allow me access to the special event items or events?
No, you must purchase a Special Event game ticket to the specific Special Event you wish to attend. Your original game ticket does not allow you access to the item or event. There is not a process for exchanging regular game tickets for Special Event tickets; a separate Special Event game ticket must be purchased.

Can I exchange my game tickets for a special events ticket for the same day?
Unfortunately, no exchanges can be made for a special events ticket. In order to participate in any special event, you must purchase a special events ticket for that day. A valid Special Event game ticket is necessary to receive the giveaway item and participate in any other elements of the event.

What can I do with my original game tickets if I purchase a Special Event ticket?
You may use your original game ticket to sit and watch the game if you chose to. However, in order to participate in the special event, you must have an ACTIVE Special Event game ticket that will be scanned in order to receive your item or to enter an event. If you would like to sit in your Special Event seats, you are welcome to sell your original (non-Special Event) ticket(s) on the secondary market, such as Stubhub.com, give it to a friend, or donate it to Junior Giants.

I'm a Season Ticket Member. Do my season tickets include the giveaway items?
Season tickets are NOT part of any Special Event giveaways. Season Ticket Members are welcome to utilize the same method described in the question above to acquire special event giveaway items. Please consult your Client Relations Account Manager for any questions or concerns regarding this.

Can I electronically re-sell or email my Special Events tickets?
Please Note: All Special Event game tickets will be scanned at the redemption location to confirm eligibly for item redemption. The Special Event value is stored on the barcode of the Special Event ticket, and any online reselling or "relaying" of Special Event tickets will remove the value from your original game ticket, resulting in your original Special Event ticket becoming inactive and not valid for item redemption. With that said, it is important to not re-sell or relay your Special Event tickets if you would like them to be valid for Special Event item redemption.

What do I do if I find someone wearing culturally insensitive attire or displaying offensive behavior?
If you find a fan acting in this manner, please contact Giants security by texting the word "FOUL" to 69050, followed by your message. Please do not take the matter into your own hands.

The Giants are proud of the rich diversity of our fan base who cheer us on at AT&T Park. It is in this spirit that we urge all fans to be mindful and respectful of each other. Any fan wearing culturally insensitive attire, using obscene or abusive language, engaging in antisocial conduct offensive to those around them or displaying any other offensive behavior is subject to removal from the ballpark.
